April is the month she met him. And she told him just one lie.....

          Arima Kousei is the famous prodigal son of a well-known pianist. The darker days of his life begin as his mother is diagnosed with terminal cancer, the once cherished music becomes robotic and dull. Soon after her death Arima Kousei, the prodigy the world had so much hope for, gives up the music and settles in for quiet high school life.
                        This life is turned upside down when the mysteriously cheerful blonde girl entered his or instead of his best friend’s life. The eternally happy violinist Kaori Miyazono drags Kousei back into the world of music forcefully. And her passion drives Kousei and everyone around him forward.
And she keeps one secret. And she tells one lie.

                Your lie in April is one of my all-time favorites and always go back to it whenever I feel down because the passion in the characters motivate me. And every time watch it, it never fails to leave me in tears. The story goes us with a bittersweet ending, and that is one thing I love about the anime. It is not just a love story where the girl and boy fall in love and live happily-ever-after. It is closer to real life and how a vicious lie is.
Every time I watch the anime, I fall in love with all the characters, including the “bad guys.” It is beautiful to see how they grow throughout the anime.
What I love about anime is the music and how it is brought to life. It is one of the rare anime that shows how emotional music can be. The soundtrack of the anime is one of the best.
 
 The story began like this. One day when Arima is walking by the park, he sees a “legin” on a branch of a tree. Some far behind that tree, a girl is playing melodica on higher place freely. Near her, three kids are playing other instruments. Arima gets the “legin” and goes to near them. He started to enjoy their music eventually. Also, it is nice to look when they play, so Arima tries to get a photo on his phone.

Suddenly she is seeing what he is doing and get misunderstood. She thought he tried to get a photo because she didn’t wear any legins. When she saw that he has her legins, she bawls “pervert.”

It is their first conversation.

When his mother died, he had a mental breakdown. The result of psychological trauma caused him to be unable to hear the sound of his piano playing, and he gave up on it. Two years later, he takes up the piano again after being convinced by Kaori Miyazono to become her accompanist. Influenced by her emotional and unrestrained playing style, Kōsei eventually finds himself falling in love with her. But he doesn't cross his feelings because already she is his friend-Watari's girl.

There is most of my heart touched movement. kousei tries to identify himself after two years. Finally, he focuses on all the happy thoughts that his mother left through him.

Kaori is Tsubaki’s classmate. Kaori asks Tsubaki to introduce her to watari. That is the moment of their first meet.

 She is a free-spirited violinist who has drawn much criticism from judging panels due to her unwillingness to adhere strictly to the score but is highly favored by audiences that hear her playing.
