Evolution of Dark-horse Comics




33 years ago, in 1986, it was in Milwaukee, Oregon, that Mike Richardson made the restoration of Dock's films. Richardson first started working in Bend, Oregon in 1980 with his movie shop called "Pegasus Books". The funds received since then have enabled Richardson to start his own company. The first two films, Dark Horse Presents and Boris the Bear were released in 1986. Within a year, Docker Comics would be able to launch films under nine other titles. They are Hellboy, The American, The Mask, Trekker, and Black Cross. Created by Frank Miller with Dark-horse comics in City was pretty popular back then. The name Dark-horse comics has gained popularity with the licensing of Aliens, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Conan, and Star WarsThe Umbrella Academy storyline released recently by Netflix is based on the Doc or Comics comics under the same name. At the moment, Docker Horse Comics has Japanese manga publishers and American comic books.
